It was like watching a real life fairy tale and as everyone waited with bated breath to see what dress the Princess to be would be wearing, we was just as eager to see the style of bouquet she would carry. As she appeared from the car we saw the delicate, sheild like bouquet of Lily of the Valley, Hyacinth, Sweet William and as we expected the sprigs of Myrtle that are in keeping with royal tradition (stems picked from a myrtle planted by Queen Victoria in 1845). Despite this bouquet only being modest in size, the intricate work involved in creating a bouquet like this on would mean that you would need a Princess’ budget to purchase one, as each flower stem has to be individually wired to the wire frame which provides the shield like shape this would cost up to £1000!.

Whether its because of the Royal Wedding and all the garden parties we will have as a result, there’s a a growing trend for Brides who want an English Country Garden style Bouquet. The pretty bouquet (pictured) achieved this look of country garden and vintage style. The bouquet included Cool Water Roses, Ranunculus and Fresh Lavender, the colour flashes of Lilac and Pink against the Cream background, simply sang ‘Summers on the way’. The cost of this brides bouquet would be around £80 or you could ask in store for a similar style and bring the Summer in to your house, with a welcoming vase of flowers to greet you as you return home.

Beautiful Bouquet for a West Tower Wedding

We provided the flowers for a wedding, at the lovely venue – West Tower, in Ormskirk last weekend. Have a look at the pictures (below) of the brides simply stunning, hand tied, compact bouquet of massed purple Anemones, with an Aspidistra leaf collar. Perfection in Purple!

Mothers Day Success

We had a fabulous time over the Mothers Day period – despite being completely rushed off our feet! Everything ran smoothly in our Worsley and Manchester branches and we had more customers – happy ones at that – than ever before.

We also had our concession store in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre which also was a roaring success and looked amazing! We hope all the Mum’s had a lovely weekend. x
